Fair use - the legal doctrine that allows the unlicensed use of copyrighted material - is a complicated issue that filmmakers frequently encounter.  The panelists will outline the basics of the fair use doctrine and describe the current state of intellectual property law related to film, but please note that the panelists are not providing legal advice.
